We took a trip up to Lincoln,NE about two weeks ago for a wedding reception for one of my cousins. On the way up we detoured just a little to take the kids to the T-Rex restaurant at Legend's in K.C. It was really cool and they had a lot of fun. The kids got to make there very own Build-A-Dino. It is the same people as build-a-bear only with Dino's. I used to think that build-a-bear was the biggest waste of time and money and boy how I have had to eat my words. My kids LOVE it. It is always the choice for a birthday gift. After we ate and they built there Dino's Ernie took the kids and let them go on a Dino dig and some other Dino activities that they had there.
They had a lot of fun and so did Grandma and I. I am not so sure Ernie enjoyed this leg of the trip considering he wanting to get on the road and we spent 51/2 hours just at Legend's. LOL We made it up to him by getting him the best strawberry and banana smoothie he has ever had at Sheridan's. But, when we got home he tried to find one here and there of course are not any.
