These are some pictures of our beautiful garden. As if I did not brag about my husband enough in the last post He is the one who has made our garden so beautiful(Papa helped out to). I think I have watered it twice. This is only our second year to have a garden and it grew about double the size of what we had last year thanks to Papa who just kept tilling, and tilling. I am thinking we must of gotten off to a late start though because we are just now starting to harvest some things. It seemed as though at this time last year we were
inundated with tomatoes,
cantaloupe, and our cucumbers. They are all out there but not quite ready. Right now the only thing growing is our zucchini plants. We have Zucchini coming out of our ears. Last year we lost all of our zucchini plants to squash bugs. This year we are trying to be as organic as we can with it but, it is outside and there are hungry little bugs. I looked on line for some tips on pest control that was safe and I found a web-site that said to mix half water to half garlic extract. I have never heard of such a thing but I am off tomorrow to a health food store to see if they might have anything of that nature.
This is "Hubby" looking over things.

More of our Zucchini plants. I think they are so pretty!
This was a zucchini plant that Ernie's dad gave us as an extra. I think it was actually just some seeds that we did not think would do much. Boy, were we wrong! I had to twist some zucchini out from under the edge of this tire just to get it out. Who would of guessed? We do have a strawberry plant in there somewhere.

This is little Gracie planting her flowers that she went to the yard and pulled up just to bring them to the garden for planting. They are Dandelions. This makes her Daddy so proud! She also likes picking up the radishes. She says "I like the pink/red plants Mommy".

These are my cute little watermelons that I hope are big enough to eat by the 4th of July.

Well, that does it for the family garden. I will let you know how it all taste. Some of you just might be getting a visit from me if it starts to really take off. I will have to think of a charge. Maybe free babysitting! Now there's an idea!
LOL

if you'd ACTUALLY let us keep your kids, that'd be a great idea!
